Liverpool ,Tottenham, Chelsea and Watford are all taking 100% records into this weekend’s action whilst Manchester United look to be in disarray under the stewardship of Jose Mourinho. Elsewhere, Arsenal picked up their first points under Unai Emery at the expense of Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham who sit bottom of the table without a point, in what is a worrying time for the Hammers.
Here are our picks for the fourth round of fixtures in the Premier League:
12.30 Liverpool vs Leicester City – King Power Stadium
Leicester City ($8)
Liverpool are the early season pace setters as the Premier League moves into September and they will be hoping to keep their flawless start to the campaign going. The Reds have notched 7 goals in their opening 3 games without conceding and look very well set to mount a serious title challenge this term. They travel to Leicester who have bounced back well from an opening day defeat to win their last two games with wins over Wolves and Southampton. Leicester endured a tough opening day at Manchester United but have bounce back well with wins over Wolves and Southampton. They currently sit 7th in the table, a position many people believe they will be residing in come next May if their current form continues. Jurgen Klopp’s men continue to march on this season and came through a tricky afternoon against Brighton last time out to maintain their 100% start to the season. A summer of spending at Anfield looks to be yielding results and the Reds faithful will be hopeful that this can continue all season. With both sides known for their positive approaches, it could be a real classic encounter at the King Power and with confidence currently flowing for the reds; Liverpool should come through and win.

15.00 Brighton vs Fulham – AMEX Stadium
Newly-promoted Fulhamtravel to the South Coast to take on Brighton, fresh from claiming their first Premier League win of the season last time out whilst Brighton will be hoping to emulate their famous win over Manchester United two weeks ago. Both sides will be prioritising Premier League safety at the end of the season and will be seeing these games as potential six-pointers.The Seagulls currently sit 12th in the Premier League with 3 points from their opening 3 games and safety looks to be their rightful priority once again this season. Chris Hughton will be hoping his men can kick on at home following an impressive showing against Manchester United and they will be looking to achieve another mid-table finish this term.Slaviša Jokanovic’smen have enjoyed a solid week, winning 4-2 against Burnley before dispatching of Exeter in the Carabao Cup with relative ease and their exciting young squad look to be coming to terms with the Premier League. This should be an excellent game between two very good sides and both sides will be happy to take a point from this one.
Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw and both teams to score ($4.3)
15.00 Chelsea vs Bournemouth – Stamford Bridge
Two unbeaten sides face off at Stamford Bridge as Eddie Howe takes his plucky Bournemouth side to the capital to face off against Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea. The Blues have enjoyed a solid start to the season and possess a 100% winning record whilst Bournemouth have yet to lose this campaign, drawing last time out and winning their first two games. With three wins from his opening three league games, Maurizio Sarri could not have gotten off to a better start as Chelsea manager. Maurizio Sarri has been brought in to improve the football at Stamford Bridge and his players look to be adapting to the Italian with relative ease. The Cherries sit 6th in the Premier League as Eddie Howe continues to impress as the man at the helm of a team that manages to combine impressive results with free-flowing football. Renowned as one of the pluckiest teams in the league, they recovered from 2-0 down last time out to pick up a 2-2 draw with Everton. Two pioneers of attacking football look set to face off and it promises to be a fascinating encounter which Chelsea – with all their attacking talent – should triumph from over the course of the 90 minutes.
Betting tip: Chelsea to win the match and both teams to score ($2.5)
Chelsea to win 3-1
15.00 Crystal Palace vs Southampton – Selhurst Park
Crystal Palace ($2)
Two sides looking to secure their positions in the Premier League as quickly as possible face off in East London as Mark Hughes’s Southampton travel to the capital to face Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace. Both sides have endured tough starts to the campaign and they will be looking to put points on the board as quickly as possible. The Eagles have had a mixed start to the campaign and have picked up 3 points from their opening 3 games. Roy Hodgson has overseen a dramatic transformation at the club but their failure to take their chances in recent games against Liverpool and Watford has proven costly as they have lost both matches. Following last minute heartache at the hands of Leicester last time out, Southampton are without a win this season and sit in 17th place. Mark Hughes will be keen to kick on, having had his troops for a full pre-season and they will be looking to push towards mid-table this term and need to pick up points quickly. Both sides will go into this one believing they can get the win but Palace, with their notorious home support, should pick up all three points here.
Betting tip: Crystal Palace to win the match ($2)
Crystal Palace to win 2-1
15.00 Everton vs Huddersfield Town – Goodison Park
Huddersfield Town ($7.8)
A contrast of styles looks on the cards at Goodison Park as Marco Silva’s free-flowing Everton take on David Wagner’s attritional Huddersfield Town in what promises to be an intriguing encounter on Merseyside. Everton have started well under the stewardship of their new manager and are unbeaten whilst Huddersfield are yet to win this season and picked up their first point last time out against Cardiff City. Marco Silva looks to have galvanised the Toffees, with 2 draws and a win from their opening 3 games, they will be looking to finish in the top half again this season. Their attacking football has been clear for all to see with 6 goals scored in their opening 3 games, a sign of things to come this season perhaps. The Terriers picked up their first point of the season in a gritty 0-0 draw with Cardiff after facing Chelsea and Manchester City in their opening two games – conceding 9 goals in the process. They struggled on their travels last season and will have to improve their form on the road if they are to stay in the division. Confidence appears to be high amongst Evertonians and despite letting a 2 goal lead slip at Bournemouth last time out, Marco Silva’s men are still unbeaten and should put Huddersfield away with ease here.
Betting tip: Everton to win the match to nil ($2.3)
Everton to win 3-0
15.00 West Ham United vs Wolves – London Olympic Stadium
West Ham United ($2.6)
West Ham welcome Wolves to the London Olympic Stadium in what promises to be an entertaining game – with the Hammers sat bottom of the table and without a point from their opening three games. Wolves come into this one off the back of a famous 1-1 draw against Manchester City as Nuno Esporito Santo’s men look towards the upper echelons of the Premier League in the not too distant future. The pressure is beginning to mount on Manuel Pellegrini who has been entrusted with investment at West Ham – bringing in 9 players this summer but as yet his team sit bottom of the table. Despite dominating for large period of the game, the Hammers went down 3-1 to Arsenal last time out. Despite failing to register a win yet in the Premier League, Nuno Esporito Santo will be delighted with the performances his charges have put in – with 2 points from 3 games. They showed incredible resilience to hold Manchester City to a 1-1 draw last time out and they look well equipped to deal with the challenge of playing Premier League football. This should be a highly entertaining encounter between two teams that have yet to win this term but play good football and they could well cancel each other out.
Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw and both teams to score ($4.33)
17.30 Manchester City vs Newcastle United – Etihad Stadium
Manchester City ($1.12)
Newcastle United ($29)
Reigning champions Manchester City dropped their first points of the season last time out at Wolves and they will be looking to get back to winning ways as quickly as possible. Newcastle meanwhile, are yet to win this season in any competition following their cup upset at Nottingham Forest and they will be hoping to try and frustrate City for long periods of this one. Despite dropping points at Wolves, City displayed their usual attacking prowess last time out despite not scoring more than once – much to Pep Guardiola’s annoyance. Their expensively assembled squad gives them an embarrassment of riches and they will be confident of lodging a serious title challenge once again this season. Tough fixtures have made it a tricky start for the season for Newcastle who have yet to win in their opening three matches. With one point from three games, Rafa Benitez will be hoping to see an improvement from his team that comfortably avoided the relegation picture last season. Newcastle will look to frustrate Manchester City for as long as possible with Rafa Benitez an expert in stifling teams but Pep Guardiola’s men have been in good form this season and should get the job done here.
Betting tip: Manchester City to win the match to nil($1.78)
Manchester City to win 3-0
13.30 Cardiff City vs Arsenal – Cardiff City Stadium
Cardiff City ($6.5)
Newly promoted Cardiff City are still chasing their first goals of the Premier League season and they welcome Unai Emery’s Arsenal to the South Walian capital with both sides in need of a win. The Gunners picked up their first win of the season last time out against West Ham and will be looking to take confidence from that as they head in to this tricky looking tie on paper. The Bluebirds have endured a tough start to life in the Premier League, failing to score in their first 3 games but have shown real grit and determination to pick up two points. Neil Warnock’s men are solely targeting survival this season in the Premier League and their current position of 15th place will give them encouragement. Unai Emery picked up his first win in charge of Arsenal last weekend as the Gunners beat West Ham United 3-1 in an entertaining encounter. With a managerial and defensive overhaul in the summer, it looks as if it is taking time for Emery’s ideologies to bed in. Cardiff’s physical approach could unsettle Arsenal but if the Gunners play to their potential, they should get the win here.
Betting tip: Arsenal to win to nil ($2.69)
Arsenal to win 2-0
16.00 Burnley vs Manchester United – Turf Moor
Manchester United ($1.7)
Manchester United’s struggles have continued through August as the reds have suffered back to back defeats in the Premier League already under Jose Mourinho as the pressure begins to reach fever pitch at Old Trafford. They travel to Burnley next who will still be reeling from their Europa League disappointment and need to start picking up points very quickly this season to avoid a relegation scrap. Burnley’s European adventure came to an end at the hands of Olympiakos in midweek and it may be time for them to concentrate on domestic matters. Defeats against Watford and Fulham in their last 2 matches have pushed them in to 18th position in the table but it is still very early days. After a tumultuous summer, Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United look to be in disarray and despite a decent first half performance against Tottenham ultimately lost 3-0. With a tough looking Champions’ League group looming too, it could be tough campaign for the Reds who already sit 6 points off the top of the table. This could be a highly charged and entertaining encounter between two sides low on confidence and despite Burnley’s obvious threats; Manchester United should get the job done here.
Betting tip: Manchester United to win the match and both teams to score ($4.2)
Manchester United to win 2-1
16.00 Watford vs Tottenham – Vicarage Road
Two London rivals meet at Vicarage Road as two 100% records go on the line as Watford welcome Tottenham. Watford have enjoyed a fantastic start to the season under Javi Gracia and have 9 points from their opening 3 games whilst Tottenham arrive in North London fresh off the back of their impressive 3-0 win at Manchester United last time out. Despite being many pundits pick for relegation this season, the Hornets have started the season on fire, winning their opening 3 games against Brighton, Burnley and Crystal Palace. He endured his obvious struggles when he arrived in England but Javi Gracia looks to have his players buying into his ideologies and his high-pressing, counter attacking formation is currently working for the Spaniard. Mauricio Pochettino continues to work wonders for Spurs and despite not spending money in the summer transfer window, he has his charges fit and firing once again this term. Wins over Newcastle, Fulham and Manchester United have left Spurs in second place in the Premier League, a place they would love to finish at the end of the season. With both sides defending 100% records, this should be a super game which despite the obvious threats Watford pose – Tottenham should come through and pick up the three points.
Betting tip: Tottenham to win the match and both teams to score ($3.2)
Tottenham to win 2-1
